This Agreement outlines the terms and expectations for participation in the Group Monthly Coaching Program ("Program") facilitated by Rachel Wilson.

1. Services Provided

Rachel Wilson will provide group coaching services, including live weekly sessions, access to a self-paced 6-week virtual course, written materials, and access to the community space.

2. What Is Group Coaching?

Group Coaching is a collaborative process where the coach facilitates conversations that support personal insight, goal-setting, and implementation. Unlike consulting, coaching does not involve giving advice. Unlike therapy, coaching does not involve diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.

Coaching is not a substitute for therapy or medical treatment. No psychological, therapeutic, or medical services are provided.

3. Fees

The monthly membership fee is $200, billed monthly. This includes all Program materials, weekly calls, and access to the community space.

4. Refund Policy

All fees are non-refundable once the Program begins. If the Client requests to withdraw before the start of the Program, the Coach may issue a partial refund at her discretion, less a 30% administrative fee.

5. Coaching vs. Psychotherapy

In addition to being a coach, I am a licensed clinical social worker in California and Minnesota with training and experience in diagnosing and treating emotional and psychological challenges. While coaching and psychotherapy share some similarities—such as the use of reflective questions, goal setting, and behavior change strategies—they are distinct practices with different purposes, methods, and ethical responsibilities.

Psychotherapy is a healthcare service typically reimbursable through insurance. It focuses on the identification, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders. Its goals often include symptom relief, processing past experiences, changing maladaptive patterns, and developing coping strategies. Psychotherapy often involves a greater degree of emotional vulnerability, and because of the inherent power imbalance, therapists carry a fiduciary responsibility to protect the safety and well-being of their clients.

Coaching, on the other hand, is a collaborative, forward-focused relationship designed to help individuals reach self-identified goals related to personal development, well-being, or professional fulfillment. While coaching may touch on emotional patterns or limiting beliefs, it does not involve diagnosis or treatment. Coaching uses tools like values clarification, somatic practices, brainstorming, and strategic planning to support growth. The client drives the agenda, and the relationship is designed to be more equal, direct, and action-oriented.

Because these roles can easily become blurred, I do not serve as both therapist and coach for the same person, whether at the same time or sequentially. If at any point I believe you would benefit from therapeutic support, I will offer referrals. In some cases, I may require that you begin therapy—and allow coordination between your therapist and me—as a condition for continuing in the coaching program.

Finally, while the coaching relationship can feel personal and connected, it remains a professional relationship. To protect the integrity of our work, boundaries will be maintained both during and after our time together. When boundaries are unclear, it can undermine the safety and progress of the coaching container.

6. Boundaries & Communication

1)Weekly group calls will be facilitated by Rachel.

2) Community support and email responses (within 2 business days) are included.

3) This is not a space for deep emotional processing or trauma work. Participants agree to maintain respectful group dynamics and avoid sharing highly triggering or traumatic details.

4) Communication between sessions should take place in the designated community space, within the same boundaries and agreements.

7. Responsibility of the Client

Clients are solely responsible for their own choices, well-being, and results from participating in the Program.

Participation implies a commitment to engage fully—attend sessions, complete exercises, and implement insights. Coaching is a tool, not a guarantee. Your progress depends on your participation and follow-through.

8. Mental & Financial Readiness

By enrolling, you affirm that you are in stable mental and physical health and can afford the monthly fee without financial strain.

9. Trust & Open Communication

If something said or done by the Coach or another participant feels concerning or misaligned, you agree to raise it with Rachel directly. Open, honest dialogue is essential. Miscommunications can happen—assume good intent and seek clarity when needed.

10. Term & Termination

This agreement begins upon enrollment and continues month-to-month until canceled.

By Participant: You may cancel at any time by emailing at least 3 business days before your next billing date. You’ll retain access through the end of the paid period.

By Coach: Rachel may terminate your participation at any time for reasons including non-payment, disruption, or violation of group agreements. Written notice will be provided. Refunds may be issued at her discretion.

11. Confidentiality

Rachel is committed to confidentiality in accordance with her clinical licensure. Information shared in coaching will remain private unless:

1)Required by law (e.g., child abuse, risk of harm to self/others).

2)Released with your written consent.

Please note: Coaching via email, video, and other online platforms has inherent privacy risks. Sessions may be recorded and shared within the group. By enrolling, you agree to uphold the confidentiality of what others share.

Do not share any information that could identify fellow participants outside the group. When in doubt, choose discretion.

12. Social Media

To protect your confidentiality and maintain professional boundaries, Rachel does not accept friend or contact requests on personal social media accounts. You are welcome to follow her public professional pages on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or LinkedIn.

Acknowledgment & Agreement

By typing your name below, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this Agreement. You understand the distinctions between coaching and psychotherapy, the boundaries of the coaching relationship, and your responsibilities as a participant in the Group Coaching Program. You agree to uphold the group agreements, maintain confidentiality, and participate to the best of your ability.
